May
had just begun, after one of the most cold and long winters in
history.
Ice
on the top of mountains began melting thanks to the first rays of
warm sun, discovering a thousand clefts, just like wrinkles on the
face of old ladies that make them more beautiful and interesting.
The
life cycle of Nature seemed to have stopped forever, and then the
dawn of one bright day the shy corolla of a light blue flower
started to peep out between one of the clefts.
It
was so tender, and making his way out was very painful, but it
obstinately continued day after day to strengthen its roots and to
enrich his corolla with even more beautiful petals.
When
it dared look around itself, it saw that a majestic eagle had
built his eyrie near there.
It
seemed to the little flower that the eagle was not there by chance
but in order to protect it and help it to overcome the obstacles
of a so harsh nature.
The
flower had understood it from the sweetness of the eagle’s
glance when it watched over the flower; and actually that animal,
so proud and untamed whit enemies, was amazed at the strength of
that little flower so gentle in appearance.
A
few months ago a group of climbers saw a very curious scene: a
majestic eagle next to a light blue flower that seemed exchanging
love words.
